Hi, Barbara. Thanks for your continued reading and support of the blog. The song is “The Heat of Tel Aviv/BChom Shel Tel Aviv” by Sarit Hadaad. The girl in the song is singing about a ditsy woman driving mindlessly along side her in her Mercedes (only found in the TA area, I think- very rarely seen in these parts) without regard to the heat or threat of war. It’s also about how people can change attitudes and complications in life much as this girl mindlessly changes lanes and cuts [the singer] off… many songs here seem to be at least partially philosophical. Guess that what happens when one lives in these parts-
